Sign up with your website and finish onboarding. One connection works on one workspace.
Your Scout7 plan
Connecting is included on every plan. Paid plans differ only by credits. Your agent shows the cost first.
Your agent’s plan
Claude Free allows one custom connector. ChatGPT needs Plus or above, with Developer mode.
Your face and voice (optional)
Record once in the Scout7 app. Every “you on camera” video uses it.

Sign in, copy the URL, approve. The rest happens in your agent.
Onboard on the website first
Sign up free at scout7.ai with your website. Scout7 reads it and learns your brand.
Copy the URL from MCP Server
Open MCP Server in the sidebar and copy https://mcp.scout7.ai/mcp. Paste it into your agent.
Approve on the consent page
Pick the brand workspace, check the permissions, click Connect. One connection works on one workspace.

Connect Claude
Add Scout7 once as a custom connector. claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Cowork share it.

Open Customize › Connectors
In Claude, open Settings › Customize › Connectors.

Add a custom connector
Click + and choose Add custom connector.

Name it Scout7 and paste the URL
Name: Scout7. Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.scout7.ai/mcp. Leave Advanced settings empty.

Add, then Connect
Click Add, then Connect. On the Scout7 page, pick the workspace and click Connect.

Check the tools
Scout7 now shows as connected in Claude. Paste the first ask below to check.
Teams
Team and Enterprise: an Owner adds it under Organization settings › Connectors › Add › Custom › Web. Members then open Customize › Connectors, click Connect and pick their workspace.
Then paste this

- Customize › Connectors › Scout7 › ⋯ › Remove
- In Scout7: MCP Server › revoke the connection

What your agent can never do
- Switch to another workspace
- Post replies. You post those in the app
- Run ad campaigns. Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Reddit campaigns are built, run and monitored in the app, not over MCP yet
- Post, schedule or spend without your OK
- Buy credits or change your plan
- Connect or remove social accounts
- Record your face or voice
- Read other workspaces or your passwords
Security and data
- OAuth 2.0, per the MCP spec. Your agent gets a short-lived token for one workspace.
- Scout7 never sees your agent login. Your agent never sees your Scout7 password.
- Read tools run on their own. Posting and spending always wait for your OK. ChatGPT asks again on every write.
- You see the cost before credits are spent. Articles never go live on their own.
- Scout7 logs each tool call for security, support and billing. It does not store your chat.
- Your chat runs under Anthropic’s or OpenAI’s terms. Scout7 does not use your content or chats to train AI models. Its model providers may not either.
- Disconnect any time in your agent or in Scout7 under MCP Server. It takes effect on the next call. Posts already live stay live.

When something doesn’t connect.
Common problems and the fix for each.
The consent page keeps coming back
Finish the Scout7 sign-in in the tab your agent opened. Allow pop-ups for claude.ai or chatgpt.com. Signed in elsewhere? Click Connect again. Claude Code: /mcp › scout7 › Clear authentication, then reconnect.
I connected the wrong workspace
One connection is one brand. Remove the connector, add it again and pick the right workspace. For a second brand in Claude (Pro and up), add a second connector named “Scout7 – Brand B”. Claude Free allows one.
The tools don’t show up
Claude: click Connect, finish the Scout7 page, check the tool toggles. Claude Code: “! Needs authentication” in claude mcp list means run /mcp. ChatGPT: Developer mode on, Scout7 picked in this chat via + › Developer mode. After a server update, refresh the connector.
“This will use N credits”
Your agent shows the cost before it spends. Out of credits? The tool stops and tells you. Top up inside Scout7, not in the chat.
A step needs a paid plan or more credits
Every paid plan does everything. Plans differ by credits: 300 a month on Starter, 3,000 on Growth. Free covers onboarding, connecting and the Growth Scorecard. AI video, the deep site check and carousels need a paid plan. Nothing is bought in the chat.
Team or company accounts
Claude Team and Enterprise: an Owner adds the connector. ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu: an admin allows Developer mode. Each member still picks their own workspace.
