Decision-maker

A decision-maker is the person who can say yes to buying and approve the money.

In a small company it is often the founder. In a bigger one it might be the head of a team, with others who use the product or check the contract. Talking only to users can lead to a nice chat and no sale.

Put decision-makers on your lead list, by job title and company size from your ideal customer profile. Find their work emailsoon and send a cold email about a problem they own. On the discovery call, ask who else needs to agree.
