Schema markup
Also called Structured data.
Schema markup is code that labels what a page contains, such as a product, price or review, so search engines can read it.
It uses the schema.org vocabulary. Google recommends the JSON-LD format, a small script block in the page. It can make a page eligible for rich results, like stars or prices in search, but Google does not promise to show them.
Add Organization markup to your homepage and Product markup to product pages. Many site builders add some for you. It helps search engines understand your pages, though AI Overviews do not require it. Pair it with llms.txt and good SEO basics when you add schema markupsoon.
