Search and AI
AI Overviews
AI Overviews are short answers written by AI at the top of some Google results, with links to the pages they used.
Google shows them for many questions. The links next to the answer come from pages in Google's normal index. Google says there are no extra rules to appear: a page must be indexed and able to show a snippet in normal search.
So the work is normal SEO: answer one real question clearly near the top of a page. You do not need llms.txt or special schema markup for this. Search the questions your buyers ask, note which pages get cited, then write a clearer answer than theirs.
