User-generated content (UGC)

Also called UGC.

User-generated content (UGC) is photos, videos, reviews or posts about your product made by customers, not by you.

It includes an unboxing video, a review with a photo, or a post about using your tool. People trust it because it comes from someone like them. UGC also means paid creators who make videos in the style of a customer post.

Ask every customer for a photo or short video, and offer something small in return. Get permission before you reuse it in ad creatives or on product pages as social proof. Micro-influencers can make it for you too. Get UGC for your brandsoon from your first 10 orders.
