Waitlist
A waitlist is a list of people who signed up to hear when your product is ready or to get early access.
It is usually a simple page with one line on what the product does and an email field. Founders who build in public often grow one from their posts. A waitlist is also an email list, so treat it like one.
A waitlist only counts if you talk to it. Email each person, ask about their problem, and invite the best fits to customer interviews. On launch day, tell the whole list first, then post on Product Hunt. Build a waitlist before you launchsoon with 100 personal invites a day.
