Customer interview
A customer interview is a short call where you ask a buyer about their problem and how they solve it today.
Ask about past events, not opinions: "When did this last happen? What did you do? What did it cost you?" Do not pitch. People are kind about ideas, so questions about the future get answers that are too nice.
Do 20 interviews before you change your positioning or value proposition. Find people through warm outreach and your ideal customer profile. Write down the exact words people use, then reuse them on your site. Run customer interviews before you build more.
