Product-led growth (PLG)
Also called PLG.
Product-led growth (PLG) is when people find, try and buy your product themselves, without a sales call.
The product does much of the selling. People sign up, reach value through onboarding, and pay when they need more, often through a free trial or freemium plan. Some users invite teammates, which brings in new users.
PLG still needs people to arrive. A new product with no traffic gets no signups, however good the signup flow is. So pair it with warm outreach and cold messages: talk to your first 100 users one by one, and watch your activation rate. Get your first 100 SaaS users by hand.
