Value proposition
A value proposition says who your product is for, what problem it solves and why it beats the other options.
It comes from your positioning and uses your buyer's own words. Example: "Invoicing for freelance designers. Send a branded invoice in 2 minutes, and let reminders chase late payers for you." It becomes your homepage headline and the core of every cold email.
Test it before you trust it. Say it in 20 customer interviews and watch whether people lean in or look confused. Put the version that works above the fold on your site. Write your value proposition in plain words.

- How to do customer interviewsDo customer interviews when you have almost no customers: 7 questions about the last time the problem happened, 100 messages a day to book 20-minute calls, a notes sheet in their exact words, and a Sunday count that puts those words into your marketing.
